Dr. Alan Carlson, D.P.M., is a podiatrist who has been practicing for 28 years. He received his undergraduate degree in 1979 from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1989 from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. This was followed by 2 years of post graduate training under Dr. Walter Jurcich, D.P.M. in St. Paul, MN focusing on Podiatric Medicine and ambulatory foot surgery. In 2010, Dr. Carlson and his wife, Kathy, who is an RN and works in the office with him, moved to Arizona and he is now practicing in Oro Valley. Dr. Carlson specializes in foot care for diabetics and vascular compromised patients, treatment of ingrown nails, heel pain, and other general podiatry.
